Understanding the table

Before you sit at a live baccarat table in the lobby, check the minimum and maximum bets. These limits are displayed on the table preview. For Malaysian players, balances are shown in ringgit. A low-stakes table typically starts at RM10, while high-roller tables may begin at RM500. Knowing your budget helps you choose the right seat.

Look for the shoe number and round count on the screen. The shoe number tells you which deck set is in use. The round count shows how many hands have been dealt. If the shoe is new, you have many rounds ahead. If it is near the end, you may prefer to wait for a fresh shoe on the platform.

Three main bets explained

You place chips on one of three areas: Player, Banker, or Tie. The Player and Banker bets pay even money, but the Banker bet carries a 5% commission. This commission is deducted from your winnings automatically. The Tie bet pays 8-to-1 or 9-to-1, but it has a much higher house edge. Most regulars stick to Player or Banker.

When you see the payout odds on the betting layout, note them carefully. The platform shows the commission rate next to the Banker area. For a Tie bet, check the posted odds — some tables pay 8-to-1, others 9-to-1. The difference matters for your expected return. Always confirm before placing your chips.

How cards are valued

Baccarat uses a simple scoring system. Cards 2 through 9 are worth their face value. Aces count as 1. Tens and picture cards (Jack, Queen, King) are worth 0. You add the values of the two cards dealt, but only the last digit of the total counts. For example, a hand of 9 and 7 totals 16, which is worth 6.

To practise, look at the hand history on the screen. The results show the winning hand, either Player or Banker, and the total points. You can verify the count yourself. If you see a Banker win with a total of 7 and the Player has 5, you can confirm the card values. This builds confidence in reading the game.

Natural and third card rules

A natural occurs when either hand totals 8 or 9 from the first two cards. When a natural appears, no more cards are drawn, and the hand ends immediately. This rule speeds up play. If you see a natural on the display, the round finishes right there. The platform will then settle all bets based on the final totals.

If neither hand has a natural, the game follows a fixed set of drawing rules. The Player hand acts first: it draws a third card if its total is 0-5 and stands on 6 or 7. The Banker hand then draws based on its own total and the Player's third card. You do not need to memorise these rules — the software handles them automatically.

Checking the scoreboard

The lobby provides a digital scoreboard showing past results. It uses symbols like B for Banker, P for Player, and T for Tie. Some players use patterns such as streaks or chops (alternating wins) to decide their next bet. However, each hand is independent. The scoreboard only shows history, not predictions. Use it to track the game flow, not to forecast outcomes.

When you open a table, examine the scoreboard for at least the last 10 rounds. Note whether results are alternating or clustering. If you see a long streak of Banker wins, some players may bet on Banker to continue, while others bet on Player expecting a reversal. There is no proven strategy, but understanding the trend helps you choose your own approach.

Placing bets via e-wallet

On the platform, you can deposit and withdraw using e-wallets like Touch 'n Go or bank transfers. The minimum deposit is usually RM10. To play, transfer funds from your e-wallet to the casino balance. Then, while at a live baccarat table, click on the betting area and type your stake amount. Confirm the bet before the countdown ends.
